To achieve this, the UPC requests 6G research infrastructure and equipment to develop an extensive 6G network with end-to-end multi-technology based on a radio and optical access network, and a high-capacity core network, which will support a set of intelligent and cognitive network services and applications. This will allow for the holistic design, monitoring, validation, and deployment of new 6G devices, services, applications, and verticals.
